By car from Long Island— Throgs Neck Bridge to the Bronx; after the tolls keep left toward the Cross Bronx Expressway (I-295/I-95, south)/George Washington Bridge; move right to take the Bruckner Expressway (I-278) west (exit 12, toward Triboro Bridge); Bruckner Expressway west (4.7 mi.) to exit 47 to Maj. Deegan Expressway (I-87) north (toward Albany); Maj. Deegan Expressway north to exit 2 (Willis Avenue/Third Avenue Bridge, 0.5 mi.) onto E. 135th Street; 0.4 miles on E. 135th Street (three traffic lights) to Lincoln Avenue; right onto Lincoln Avenue. 199 Lincoln Avenue is on the left (Chase Bank on the ground floor) opposite the Mitchell Houses apartment buildings.

By car from Brooklyn/Queens— Triboro Bridge to the Bronx; keep left toward the Maj. Deegan Expressway (I-87) north (toward Albany); Maj. By car from Manhattan— FDR Drive north to exit 18 (Willis Avenue Bridge/Bronx); slight right onto Willis Avenue Bridge onto Willis Avenue; keep right at the fork to stay on Willis Avenue; left onto E. 138th Street; left onto Third Avenue. 199 Lincoln Avenue is the first building on the left (Chase Bank on the ground floor). The entrance is on the opposite side from Third Avenue on Lincoln Avenue, around the corner to the left of the entrance to the Chase Bank.
