"Regional Forums originated in 1975 at the suggestion of Dr. Jack Norris, then Chair of the General Service Board of Alcoholics Anonymous.  They were to be weekend sharing and informational sessions designed to help the General Service Board, AA World Services, Inc., the Grapevine Corporate Board, the Grapevine Staff, and the General Service Office [GSO] Staff stay in touch with AA members, trusted servants and newcomers to service throughout the AA service structure."  (From www.aa.org.)

While GSO is conveniently located in our backyard on Riverside Drive in Manhattan, these Forums offer an exceptional opportunity for members to spend time with board members and staff not afforded even by a visit to GSO.  There is no registration fee for participation at a Forum.

The next biennial Northeast Region Regional Forum (NERF) will be hosted by Massachusetts (Areas 30 and 31) in Sturbridge the weekend of May 20-22, 2011.  Go for the weekend or go for the day on Saturday.  (About a 3 hour drive depending on where in SENY you start.)
