According to the area's Articles of Association/By-Laws, SENY's committee meets at least seven times each year to conduct the area's business, and to support the area's role as a constituent part of the General Service Conference of the US and Canada. Similarly, its assembly meets five times each year to learn of the work of the area committee, to serve as the final authority for area decisions and to play its part in the life of AA in the area and beyond.

Important to the role of these two area service groups is clear and effective recording and communication of the work at hand. To that end, minutes are taken by the area's recording secretary for each of the area committee and assembly meetings. Minutes from each meeting are reviewed, amended as needed and approved at the next meeting.

In the spirit of openness and transparency, and respecting local AA members' right of participation, minutes from the most recent six meetings of each body are available below for review edited or redacted to protect individual anonymity on the Internet.
