On January 19, 2002, approval was granted to make the Ad Hoc Committee on the Internet a standing WebSite Committee under the direction of the NetChair.
The committee should consist of both computer users as well as non-users. The chairperson of the committee (the NetChair) is not required to be computer or Internet knowledgeable, but should be well versed in the 12 Traditions and Concepts.
The WebSite Committee is responsible for establishing the guidelines and polices that the website must abide by (subject to the approval of the SENY Assembly), as well as determing what material is appropriate for inclusion on the website. It is committed to improving and expanding the use of the World Wide Web as a vehicle for carrying the AA message within SENY.
Upon the recommendation of the WebSite Committee, it is the responsibility of the webmaster to establish and maintain the Area WebSite (www.aaseny.org) in a timely manner.
