SENYs Recording Secretary

Welcome to the SENY Recording Secretary Home Page

The Recording Secretary:

takes minutes at SENY Committee and SENY Assembly business meetings. Information such as discussion and decisions, recommendations and advisory actions, or informed Area consciences, etc are kept on record. This is available to interested AA members for use as a guide or point of reference. It is also another way for the Area to preserve its history. It is a two year commitment appointed by the SENY Chair. There are no special requirements for this service work; only a willingness to do service and an understanding of AA principles and practices. The SENY Recording Secretary is a voting member of the Area. Though not a specific service committee, it continues to be an important part of service work in SENY.
