Car from North	Major Deegan Expressway (I-87) south (toward Triboro Bridge) to exit 3 (toward E 138th St) onto Exterior St (0.1 mi); turn left onto E 138th St (0.2 mi); turn right onto Third Ave. Bear left just before Chase Bank onto Lincoln Ave, entrance to 199 is on the right.
Car from South (Manhattan)	FDR Drive north to exit 18 (Willis Avenue Bridge); slight right onto Willis Ave Bridge onto Willis Ave; keep right at the fork to stay on Willis Ave; turn left onto E 138th St; then turn left onto Third Ave. Bear left just before Chase Bank onto Lincoln Ave, entrance to 199 is on the right. or Madison Avenue north to the Madison Ave Bridge to the Bronx onto E 138th St; turn right onto Third Ave. Bear left just before Chase Bank onto Lincoln Ave, entrance to 199 is on the right.
Car from South/East (Long Island)	Throgs Neck Bridge to the Bronx; after the tolls keep left toward the Cross Bronx Expressway (I-295/I-95,south)/George Washington Bridge, move right to take the Bruckner Expressway (I-278) west (exit 12, toward Triboro Bridge); take Bruckner west (4.7 mi) to exit 47 to Major Deegan Expressway (I-87) north (toward Albany); take Major Deegan north to exit 2 (Willis Avenue/Third Avenue Bridge, 0.5 mi) onto E 135th St; 0.4 mi on E 135th (3 traffic lights) to Lincoln Avenue; turn right onto Lincoln Ave. Entrance to 199 is on the left (Chase Bank on the ground floor) opposite the Lincoln Houses apartments.
Car from South/West (Brooklyn/Queens)	Triboro Bridge to the Bronx; keep left toward Major Deegan Expressway (I-87) north (toward Albany); take Major Deegan north to exit 2 (Willis Avenue/Third Avenue Bridge, 0.5 mi) onto E 135th St; 0.4 mi on E 135th (3 traffic lights) to Lincoln Avenue; turn right onto Lincoln Ave. Entrance to 199 is on the left (Chase Bank on the ground floor) opposite the Lincoln Houses apartments.
Public Transportation	Bus: Bx1, 2, 15, 21, 32, or 33 bus to E 138th St and Third Ave. Note: Bx15 from Manhattan stops at 138th St and Willis Ave; from there walk or take Bx33 west two blocks to Third Ave. Subway: #6 train to E 138th St and Third Ave. #2 or 5 train to E 149th St and Third Ave, switch to Bx2, 15 or 21 bus to E 138th and Third Ave.
